I never knew the pain.

I saw her sleep today.
And it made me think.
I really did.
I wanted to cry.
She puts in so much effort into this.
And, yet, we were such a disappointment.
Regret.
Only now.
And they always say, its all a little too late.

For the other one, it was unexpected.
I really did not see it coming.
But, it should have happened.

I am really sorry.
But, you were the best.
The very best.
